About The Program:
Mandelbaum Barrett is accepting applications for a law clerk to work in our Roseland, NJ office during the Fall semester (September – December 2023). The position provides students with a realistic view into what life is like as an associate at the Firm. The law clerk will work closely with Partners and Associates on meaningful client matters in various practice groups. They may get the opportunity to attend depositions and court appearances, participate in conference calls and negotiations, draft documents, and sit in on meetings, as well as work on other projects.
The law clerk will receive ample feedback as they complete each assignment.
The Firm provides a well-balanced calendar of social events that allow students to get to know attorneys and staff, as well as fellow law clerks and interns.
This position is for a rising 2L or 3L student. Applicants should show superior academic standing in college and law school as well as extracurricular pursuits and experiences that demonstrate proof of initiative and responsibility. The law clerk works part-time (approximately 15-20 hours per week).
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an Accredited Law School as a 2L or 3L
- Candidates must have advanced writing, analytical, and communication skills
