Joseph S. Aboyoun is the managing member of Aboyoun Dobbs LLC located in Morris County, New Jersey. Mr. Aboyoun is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey; the District of Columbia; and the State of New York.

For over 35 years, Mr. Aboyoun has been involved in the purchase and sale of automobile dealerships which has developed into a long-standing reputation for the handling of automotive-related transactions. He has extensive experience in handling franchise dispute resolution proceedings. He also engages in extensive estate planning matters for car dealers, including buy/sell agreements, estate tax reduction techniques, and successor addendum issues.

Mr. Aboyoun speaks and writes on a number of automotive, franchise and estate planning matters. These include presentations to the New Jersey Coalition of Automotive Retailers (NJCAR), Car Dealer Insider, National Automobile Dealer Counsel (NADC), Auto-CPA Group, and various other automotive groups. Most recently, Mr. Aboyoun was a speaker at the 2019 NADC 15th Annual Member Conference. He is also a prolific writer in the automotive space and has been published many times, including the Franchise Law Journal, the Automotive Buy Sell Report, New Jersey Lawyer, Greater New York Dealer Association, and other automotive-related publications.
