Robin Lewis focuses her practice on the areas of commercial real estate law, secured lending and workouts. Her practice involves all aspects of commercial real estate and financial transactions, including the representation of major financial institutions, real estate developers and corporate tenants. She has often acted as New Jersey counsel for parties in large multi-state transactions.
Robin has been recognized every year since 2011 in “Best Lawyers in America”* as one of the nation’s top real estate lawyers. She has also been selected for inclusion in the “New Jersey Super Lawyers”* for real estate every year since 2011 and was recognized as one of the top real estate lawyers* in the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut area in 2010 and 2011 by New York Magazine.
In September 2019, Robin was appointed to the Board of Directors of The International Society of Primerus Law Firms, Ltd, a society of over 3,000 lawyers in 170 member firms in more than 40 countries worldwide. She also serves as Chair for the organization’s North America Business Law Institute.
Robin is a member of the New Jersey Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women, a national organization. She is also very active in charitable and not-for-profit organizations, including “Team Mandelbaum”, the firm’s charitable events arm, and sits on the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey School for Dramatic Arts.
After law school, Robin served as a law clerk to Clarkson S. Fisher, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
