Litigation Partners Visit the Martin Luther King Justice Building in Newark

Mandelbaum Barrett PC Litigation Partners Raj Gadhok and Lawrence Weiner recently visited the Martin Luther King Justice Building in Newark. This 150,000-square-foot structure, dedicated to MLK’s legacy, houses 11 state-of-the-art courtrooms and several county offices. At its entrance, a bronze statue of King stands, echoing his timeless message. Our attorneys joined members of the bar, General Equity Judges, Court Staff, and Administration for a productive Meet and Greet, exchanging ideas and insights. Partners Raj Gadhok and Brian Block Successfully Defend Client in Federal Court False Claims Act Lawsuit

The Firm congratulates our partner, Raj Gadhok, on securing a unanimous jury verdict for the plaintiff on counts of fraud, abuse of process, malicious prosecution and related civil claims following a six-day trial before the Superior Court of New Jersey, Morris Vicinage. The case involved a long-running dispute between family members, heirs to a multi-million dollar estate, and Mr. Gadhok obtained a compensation damages award, as well as a substantial punitive damages award, for his client. The court also granted Mr. Gadhok permission to submit an application for all legal fees and costs incurred by his client in the case which application is pending before the court at this time.
