Selling or purchasing a veterinary practice can be a daunting experience for a veterinarian. It is also one of the most important decisions in our professional lives. Unfortunately, veterinarians have little experience or training in this area. There are a lot of hurdles and pit falls along the way and some of them can be costly with long term complications.

Peter Tanella, Esq., Chair of the National Veterinary Law Group at Mandelbaum Barrett PC will be co-presenting a Peer-to-Peer Luncheon Presentation with Chris Rocchio, DVM of Monarch Business Consulting on Saturday, March 25th at Fetch DVM360 Conference in Charlotte. The presentation is titled “10 Mistakes Veterinarians Make When Buying or Selling a Practice.”

This discussion highlights many of the mistakes that can be made in the process and gives some guidelines on how to avoid them. Most importantly it outlines the importance of hiring the right advisors to help you through the process. Lunch is provided with limited seating available on a first come, first serve basis.
