UnitedHealthcare has been hit with a class action lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida over allegations that it has failed to cover COVID-19 testing and reimburse plaintiff labs for more than 34,000 tests. The case, brought by Mandelbaum Barrett PC on behalf of labs performing COVID-19 tests and insured patients, claims that the healthcare company is evading its obligations to cover such testing.
