NJ DEP Remediation Annual Fees – The Good and The Bad.

On June 17, 2019, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (“NJDEP”) published notice of the State’s updated remediation fees for 2020, part of NJDEP’s Annual Site Remediation Reform Act Program Fee Calculation Report. (The report is available here). As noticed, the cost of an annual Remedial Action Permit increased. However, the cost of Annual Remediation Fees and Remedial Action Permit Activity Fees were reduced.
