Amy E. Shammas, RPh

Clinical Consultant Pharmacist

Amy Shammas is the Firm’s Clinical Consultant Pharmacist. She advises the Life Sciences and Healthcare groups regarding pharmacy-related matters as part of the client team. In addition, Amy serves as the Senior Marketing Manager.

Prior to joining Mandelbaum Barrett PC, Amy served in various clinical capacities including retail, hospital, and long-term care pharmacy. She has worked as a Clinical Consultant Pharmacist for a large national PBM (“Pharmacy Benefits Manager”) assisting local physician groups with implementation of state health plan initiatives.

Amy also has experience as a Clinical Coverage Policy Analyst partnering with various bio-pharmaceutical companies to provide managed markets coverage policy and formulary access information related to high-spend drugs and indications.
