An experienced corporate and transactional attorney focusing on the healthcare sector, Mandelbaum Barrett PC Counsel Romana Kaleem brings nearly 20 years of experience to the firm’s Healthcare Practice Group.
Romana’s practice includes advising start-ups as well as established businesses on questions of entity selection, corporate governance, drafting and negotiating business agreements, mergers and acquisitions as well as other corporate and commercial arrangements. Her work includes the preparation and negotiation of equity and asset purchases as well as operating and partnership agreements, shareholder agreements, corporate bylaws and other business documentation. In the healthcare space, Romana represents physicians, pharmacies, labs and other healthcare entities.
Prior to joining Mandelbaum, Romana practiced law at a small firm in Somerville, New Jersey where she was a partner.
Romana received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Connecticut, New Jersey and Massachusetts.
