Todd M. Nosher is the co-chair of the Intellectual Property and Brand Management Practice Group at Mandelbaum Barrett PC. With a wealth of legal experience, Todd is a trusted advisor to a diverse clientele, ranging from startups to established corporations. His legal practice encompasses a wide range of transactional and litigation matters related to intellectual property. Having a technical background in the biological sciences, Todd helps his clients navigate the added technical challenges of their intellectual property needs.

Todd has extensive experience handling patent, trademark, and copyright disputes—serving as counsel of record in over 100 intellectual property cases in federal courts across the United States. He has also handled numerous appeals of patent matters before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals.  Additionally, Todd helps clients build and manage their trademark portfolios, and frequently represents clients on both sides of trademark opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), as well as cancelation, expungement, reexamination, and other post-registration trademark challenges.

Todd provides comprehensive assistance to clients in the growth, management, and monetization of their intellectual property assets. His practice includes intellectual property licensing, technology transfer agreements, partnership agreements, and intellectual property due diligence. Todd’s clients represent a broad spectrum of industries and technologies, including consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, telecommunications, finance, software, media, sports, art, and entertainment. 

Todd began his legal career in the public sector, serving as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. During his tenure, Todd directed criminal investigations, presented matters to the grand jury for indictment, and was actively involved in the Office’s trial division. He frequently served as lead prosecutor in jury and bench trials, evidentiary hearings, and certain appellate matters, handling cases ranging from non-violent to violent crimes, including narcotics and weapons offenses, criminal conspiracies, and financial crimes.
