Alan Freeman has extensive experience in all major areas of commercial real estate. His practice has covered complex office, retail and industrial leasing transactions, acquisitions and dispositions, mortgage and public financing, and a wide range of property development matters including the preparation and negotiation of reciprocal easement agreements, architectural and construction contracts and brokerage agreements.

Prior to joining the firm, Alan served for 25 years as Vice President and Real Estate Counsel of Bed Bath & Beyond, a major big box retailer which during his tenure expanded from 80 stores to over 1500 stores and warehouses throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico. He also worked at major Manhattan law firms, representing real estate developers and commercial tenants. Through his years serving as both in-house and outside counsel, Alan understands his clients’ needs and expectations, and provides effective representation that brings real estate transactions to their successful conclusion.

Alan has been a speaker and panelist at various law conferences, including the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and ALFA International.
